It's taken me so long to get around to write up this blog.
I rode against strong head winds the whole 90 km to Wollongong on a grey drizzly day. But I felt good all the way and it was great to ride the original course now that the sea bridge at Coalcliff is finally open. The scenery was divine especially riding through the Royal National Park and to the outer suburbs of Wollongong. The wind was so strong crossing the sea bridge I felt that was almost going backwards. Four hours on a mountain bike aint bad.
Another brilliantly organised ride and hopefully it will not be so windy and wet next year. Go to http://www.gongride.org.au/.
